1. Charles Anderson is a self-taught photographer with a degree in fine arts. He has been taking photos professionally for more than 20 years and has worked on a variety of magazines and ad campaigns. In addition to photography, Anderson enjoys sailing, diving and travelling. 2. Award-winning photographer Meredith Andrews has shot for editorial, advertising, corporate and private clients all over the world, including Lonely Planet, Nike, Amnesty International, EasyJet and the FT. She splits her time between Bermuda and Sweden and has exhibited her work at the National Portrait Gallery and Photographer’s Gallery in London and the Bermuda National Gallery. 3. Chris Burville is a self-taught Bermudian photographer. Formerly working as a scuba instructor, commercial boat pilot and photojournalist, he also holds a degree in mathematics. Chris now freelances as a commercial photographer whilst also exploring a passion for capturing the natural world. 4. Jennifer Gray spent her childhood exploring the coastal tide pools and reefs around Bermuda, which prompted her keen interest in marine biology. A passionate environmentalist, Gray networks with international environmental organisations and takes leading roles in such groups as the Bermuda Audubon Society and the Environmental Coalition. She also leads the Bermuda Turtle Project and serves as executive director for the Bermuda National Trust, where she advocates for the preservation of Bermuda’s heritage. 5. Gavin Howarth is a local photographer who over the last five years has built up an impressive collection of images from all across Bermuda. His rich, bold and unique images have received several awards and have been featured in local and overseas magazines. Specialising in seascapes, he also has a collection of local flora and fauna photographs in addition to a large collection of aerial imagery. 6. Jamie Macmillan is a young, creative and energetic photographer. He has recently launched a new photographic company under the name Moongate Productions, specialising in weddings, portraits and events. 7. Heidi Pike was born in Lytham St. Annes, England. She made Bermuda her home for more than 16 years before moving to Denver five years ago with her husband, Paul, and daughter, Cameron. Pike has been the operations/sales director of Experience Bermuda for 13 years. She also likes skiing, travelling and “living the Colorado lifestyle.” 8. Chiwun Smith is a local graphic designer who enjoys photography. He draws inspiration from the colour and beauty of Bermuda, which serves as the perfect environment for photography, as its land, ocean, animals and sky offer spectacular hues. Smith looks forward to capturing more moments to use in his art and design. 9. Wendy Tucker is a founding trustee and director of the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute. She became the only female Bermudian member of the New York Explorers Club in 2003. She worked with National Geographic to study six-gill sharks discovered in Bermuda. Tucker has also assisted with many of the international award- winning World of Water films.
